This was the dream of Evonne and Simon and it was filled with love and prettiness like sitting in a fragrant outdoor room of blooms that was framed by the blue of the ocean and mountain view.

When it comes to inspired planning from a distance our Maleny Manor Mentors are the ones you can trust to bring it all together better than you imagined on the day. Everyones biggest fear is it is not going to be as amazing as possibly thought … we like to prove it can be better than thought! One Tree Hill, Maleny

Maleny’s most photographed private paddock, may also be the biggest charity earning paddock in Australia?

Owned by The Woods family, One Tree Hill donates all proceeds to charities and has donated over $40,000 since it opened to the public.

‘The entire Maleny community is my family’ says Mrs Florence Woods. Florence is a long time local resident arriving in Maleny with her husband Frank.

The Frank family believed that if you don’t need anymore, then you give it away and have been donating proceeds from One Tree Hill into the Maleny Community since 1917.

Over 20 years there have been thousands of brides and grooms use that sacred spot.

That charitable organisations that have benefited from this gesture are Maleny Solder Memorable Hospital, The Maleny Men’s Shed, The Maleny Show Society, Maleny Centaur Cadets, The local school Chaplains, Senior Citizens plus any in the community suffering tragic circumstances or just in need of a helping hand.

A simple bush tree perched on the edge of the majestic Glasshouse Mountain view has given so much, to so many.

Choose a professional photographer, who will arrange entry and pay the $50 charitable donation at the address on the gate mate. And please, as you enter, do tip your hat to Frank as a sign of thanks, and stop and ask for his permission to do, so just like his Grandkid’s still do, out of pure respect to one of Maleny’s founding fathers.

Start with an inspiration and we as a team can make it become a wedding reality,a little piece of magic made just for you…

We had it all…Love ,Family ,Respect and Tradition all in one beautiful day. A meeting of cultures from New Zealand and South Africa married in one amazing styled inspiration,bringing the outside in!

We wish our beautiful couple all the bucket loads of wonderful that this life can ever deliver and we give them a big thanks for adding their special flavour to this magical day.

The first inspiration was to have an outside marquee somewhere but as we have a venue that sits looking out to an amazing valley of natural verdant rainforest, why add another structure but instead utilise all the spaces in an elegant way.If anyone has organised a marquee wedding you will realise it comes with lots of extra elements to consider and a whole bit extra on the end budget. And we happen to have a venue that open outside to in,all under cover should you require.

The brief was to bring the outside in and for everyone to have a fabulous time! You will see the traditional Maori feather cloak the, fabulous King Protea featuring in the blooms and one very enthusiastic Hakka welcome. Note the greenery added to the room so that it felt like you where sitting in the garden,but in total comfort looking out to Noosa and Coolum and our sea of green that surrounds the estate.

Who wears the pants…our bridesmaids do, that’s who and why not when your invite states garden party ,Maleny… why would you not go comfy elegant? We are talking wedges ladies or flats for the feet, if you can run in heels go for it or otherwise leave the stilettos in the cupboard. Pants can be oh so elegant and flattering ,then you can actually sit on cushions around a palette table. This was a mix and match style with a fabulous colour palette, add the pop of the large protea flowers from South Africa and bam! you have the wow.

It’s all about the Peony

It’s all about the P Word…

It’s all about the Peony…If you have ever seen the light in a brides eye at the P word you will know wedding dates are booked around this precious bloom’s availability. This was the base of this beautiful ,bright palette against a blush base, a total fiesta of fun.

Turn away now lest you also come under the spell of this intoxicating bloom!

Oh and in Australia, November is the peak month for this precious cargo sometimes starting early in October and then nudging into the first week of December if you are super lucky.

Add one very creative Bride who is also a great cook as much as she is a craft demon, with hand dying table runners and stringing together her own hand crafted streamers, no buying online for this lady. All for a gorgeous gal that normally rocks a hard hat!

Add in a great family of helpers,some fabulous entertainment, the bright red Kombi from Deluxe Kombi Service and we had our own special Maleny Fiesta with the pavilion decked in streamers of pink ,yellow, orange,blush and gold.

Beautiful Apples was the Flower Girl Puppy , we think she was smiling on the inside, in her very chilled pup way, her specially crafted outfit was also made by the Bride. Puppies are such a big focus of our couples day’s and China the owl delivered the wedding rings in style swooping in as a surprise down the aisle.

As you can see beaming from these beautiful bright images, high on the list for Tamara and Tim was fun and family, love and respect, when you add in all those ingredients with a giant pop of colour , you are on a winner for your wedding day.

In the words of our In House Super Star Mondo Floral Designs as this wedding was all created from the florals up!

My goodness we love the opportunity to work with bright and colourful blooms, and for this particular celebration we certainly had a wow of a time creating the floral focus that highlighted this peony Maleny Manor wedding! Tamara and Tim were married at the gorgeous hinterland wedding venue in November and so of course peonies were high on their wish list for their feature bloom, and a combination of coral charm and Sarah Bernhardt peonies took centre stage in the designs, and what a delight it was creating the sweet hand held bouquets showcasing those delicious peony blooms. Due to our gorgeous bride’s location, all of our communication with Tamara pre-wedding was via email and as we do with many of our clients we created and designed her floral concept remotely based on her inspiration and her vision for colour, and so it was wonderful to see her ecstatic reaction on the day when we presented her with her bridal box, and she finally got to touch and see her wedding designs.

The beautiful bride and her gal pals all wore fabulous flower crowns and we created the beautiful hair garlands with pretty pops of pink, coral and mustard yellow blooms. We thought the flower crowns added that extra bit of glamorous wow to the styling, and the vivid pinks and corals combined effortlessly with the blush bridesmaids dresses. The floral concept showcased the most amazing summer florals, and alongside the beautiful peonies, dahlias, cluster roses, David Austin roses, lisianthus, Billy Buttons, berries and flowering fillers also featured . The gents had matching bright eclectic buttonhole designs and the vivid colour popped perfectly against their blue suits.

The ceremony featured hand made bunting inspired details created by the bride and her family, and our chair jars of bright blooms lined the aisle ready for the beautiful couple to say ‘I Do’.
Our antique gold chalice vases featured at reception, each featuring a collection of the beautiful summer blooms showcased through the bouquets, the pretty bright colours of magenta and coral with pops of yellow and pink combined beautifully with the additional colourful details and table decor at reception.
