Mr. O’ Meara said that Maleny Manor should be extremely proud of the achievement especially when one considers that 1,571 wedding suppliers were nominated for the 2010 Queensland ABIA Awards.

Mr. O’ Meara went onto say that it was business like Maleny Manor which complimented and elevated the wedding industry with their attention to detail, pride, passion and professional manner in which they delivered their wedding product to the customer.

The Abia’s are a much sought-after Award for Australian wedding suppliers as they are determined by the votes of past brides. Maleny Manor were nominated for the ABIA based on the quality of product, quality of service, value for money and the attitude of the staff who serviced the brides needs, before, during and after their wedding day.

The 300 attendees were informed by Mr John O’ Meara that the recent launch of the Academy’s new online national rating system was an instant success with both brides and suppliers. In the first 3 months of operation, the new online rating system attracted over 14,000 brides who registered their interest in determining the winners and finalist of the State ABIA Awards.

Dear Maleny Manor Crew We simply don’t know where to begin to thank you for EVERYTHING you have done for our wedding not only on the day but also through out the lead up. The heavy rain in central & western Queensland sure made things a little more difficult with Dave the Groom,being flooded in for 2 weeks but luckily three days before the wedding he was able to make it through the flood waters. Your help guidance patience ans support during this time was up and beyond the duties of a wedding function centre. Dave and I were approached by the ABC radio to sit for an interview discussing the unforeseen lead up to our wedding . We were that impressed by your efforts and excellence that stressed on air how fantastic maleny Manor and its brilliant staff had been.Your courtesy calls checking on the flood levels and stress levels were lovely and your backup idea to hire helicopters to fly out the groom was brilliant! Your support and expertise ontinuesd on our wedding day making more than we had ever dreamed of! Guests and friends of guests have not stopped talking about it saying “it was the best wedding they have ever been to!” The service, the staff, the venue, the food, the beverages were all very highly praised and we could not agree more! We had the most beautiful honeymoon at Brampton Island despite being evacuated a day early because of cyclone Ului. But you know what they say, rainy weddings are good luck! Thank you agian. Alec & Amy were married at Maleny Manor Easter weekend..it was a very emotional  ceremony to be a part off.The Ceremony hosted by Mr Bill Scurry was a delight.
